Pulte Homes
A national builder with more than 70 years behind it, Pulte’s Raleigh division sells Life Tested® townhomes and single-family plans in eleven Triangle communities, from the $270s in southern Wake to Apex single-family in the $500s.
About the builder
Life Tested plans, amenity-first neighborhoods.
Pulte Homes is the flagship brand of PulteGroup, one of the largest homebuilders in the country. Its Raleigh division concentrates on the east and south sides of the Triangle — Knightdale, Garner, Fuquay-Varina and Willow Spring — plus Durham near Brier Creek and a final phase in Apex. Nearly every community pairs townhomes with two-story and ranch single-family plans and opens the pool, fitness center and dog park early in the build-out.
Where Pulte fits: buyers who want a new home in Wake County schools under $350,000 without driving to Johnston or Harnett, buyers who want a 3-car garage or a first-floor owner’s suite at production pricing, and anyone who values an in-house design center and the Owner’s Entry construction portal.

Current incentives
What Pulte is offering this month.
Pulte publishes its Raleigh incentives as a program rather than a dollar figure, and most are tied to Pulte Mortgage. We get you one competing quote so you can see what the incentive actually costs.
Builder-paid closing costs and below-market financing on available quick move-in homes at participating Raleigh communities.
A $2,000 incentive for active teachers, nurses, EMS, police, firefighters, and active and retired military.

What homeowners say
Buyers on their Pulte Homes experience.
Pulte does not publish its own testimonial page for Raleigh; verified-homebuyer reviews are collected through NewHomeSource’s TrustBuilder program (3.9 of 5 across 412 Triangle reviews). Three that speak to the parts of a Pulte build that matter: the lot-to-closing process, the construction manager, and what happens after you move in.
Found the process from lot selection through closing straightforward, with every concern on the list addressed before they received keys.
Credited the team for carrying them from choosing a lot through securing the mortgage to the finished build, with clear communication at each step.
Called the sales agent, construction manager and closing process open and well managed, and said the home turned out as promised.
Homeowner comments are summarized from verified-homebuyer reviews published on NewHomeSource (TrustBuilder) for Pulte Homes in the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill area; read them in full there. Pulte’s Triangle reviews are mixed, and we tell clients that: the same source includes complaints about after-sale warranty response. Company facts as reported by PulteGroup.
