Trusst Builder Group
Locally owned and building in the Cape Fear region since 1992, with more than 3,000 homes behind it. Thirteen New Hanover and Brunswick County communities, and a standard-features list that includes what most builders sell as upgrades.
About the builder
Custom-quality finishes, without the custom price.
Trusst Builder Group is a locally owned builder and developer that has worked the Cape Fear region since 1992, with more than 3,000 homes across New Hanover, Brunswick and Duplin counties. Its pitch is the standard-features list: stainless appliances, granite countertops, decorative ceiling treatments, vented gas fireplaces, tile showers, screened porches with smooth-finish ceilings, extensive landscaping and automated irrigation are included rather than sold as options. Selections are made at the company’s design center at The Village Shoppes at Waterford with an Associate ASID design coordinator.
Where Trusst fits: buyers who want a semi-custom home inside an established amenity community — Riverlights, Brunswick Forest, Compass Pointe, St. James — and would rather start from a well-equipped base price than negotiate an options list line by line.

Current incentives
What Trusst is offering now.
Trusst does not publish a promotion. Its model is to include the finishes other builders sell as upgrades, so the comparison to make is base price against base price, feature for feature.
No standing offer appears on the builder’s site. On a semi-custom builder the negotiation is usually the homesite premium, the close date and which options come off the sheet — we price all three before you sign.
Stainless appliances, granite countertops, tile showers, vented gas fireplaces, screened porches, extensive landscaping and irrigation are standard in every Trusst home.

What homeowners say
Buyers on their Trusst Builder Group experience.
Trusst publishes its homeowner testimonials openly. Three that speak to the same three things buyers ask us about: what is actually standard, how the build is communicated, and how it holds up.
Had built three homes before this one and were struck that the features in the Trusst model were standard rather than add-ons.
Relocating from Maryland, they were kept in the loop through the whole build with photos, emails and FaceTime calls from the agent, design manager and project manager.
Two years in and they say they would only consider Trusst if they built again — weekly progress photos through the owner portal made building from out of state work.
Homeowner comments are summarized from testimonials published by Trusst Builder Group at trusstbuildergroup.com/testimonials; read them in full there. Company figures as reported by the builder.
