Mungo Homes builds one- and two-story single-family homes and luxury townhomes across the Carolinas, and its Wilmington division has grown quickly into two gated communities (East Wynd, Indigo at Abbey Preserve), a boutique master plan (Grand Park) and three value-priced neighborhoods on the edges of the metro.
Where Mungo fits: buyers who want a gated, amenity-rich community in New Hanover or Hampstead at $500,000-plus, and buyers who want a natural-gas home under $350,000 in Leland, Castle Hayne or Bolivia with a genuine amenity package.
